　　一.提出索赔申请。进出口货运保险索赔可分为以下两种情况：

　　1.属于国际货运出口货物遭受损失，对方（进口方）向保险单所载明的国外理赔代理人提出索赔申请。中国人民保险公司在世界各主要港口和城市，均设有委托国外检验代理人和理赔代理人两种机构，前者负责检验货物损失。收货人取得检验报告后，附同其它单证，自行向出单公司索赔，后者可在授权的一定金额内，直接处理赔案，就地给付赔款。

　　国际货运进口方在向我国外理赔代理人提出进出口货运保险索赔时，要同时提供下列单证：

　　（1）保险单或保险凭证正本；

　　（2）运输契约；

　　（3）发票；

　　（4）装箱单；

　　（5）向承运人等第三者责任方请求补偿的函电或其它单证，以及证明被保险人已经履行应办的追偿手续等文件；

　　（6）由国外保险代理人或由国外第三者公证机构出具的检验报告；

　　（7）海事报告。海事造成的货物损失，一般均由保险公司赔付，船方不承担责任；

　　（8）货损货差证明；

　　（9）索赔清单；等等。
